The annual scientific meeting of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons will convene at the San Diego Convention Center from October 11– 15, 2013, bringing together more than 4,500 medical professionals from around the globe. These meetings are significant because they feature the latest research, procedures, data, and technologies the cosmetic surgery field has to offer, much of which will impact trends in plastic surgery in New York City in the coming year.
According to ASPS President Gregory Evans MD, “The unique blend of breaking scientific research, new cosmetic sessions, cutting-edge reconstructive programming and charitable events being offered and held will undoubtedly affect patient care, safety and outcomes.”
Here is a rundown of special events planned for the meeting this year:
Topics of intense focus at this year’s American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ meeting will include:
Dr. Loeb is always on the forefront of the latest advances in cosmetic surgery procedures, ensuring that patients obtain the best and most natural-looking results, with as little downtime as possible.
“People wanting a natural facelift in NYC is a growing area of interest in my field,” Dr. Loeb says. “Fortunately, the technology has caught up. We can now offer a wide range of options, from minimally-invasive dermal fillers and CO2 laser skin resurfacing treatments, to liposuction and traditional rhytidectomy. I’m excited to see what the future of natural facelifts will look like in the coming years.”
Dr. Loeb goes on to say that the best way to decide upon a procedure (or, in some cases, a set of procedures) is to sit down with the plastic surgeon for a private consultation. With more than 30 years of experience and a clientele that includes local NY celebrities, Dr. Loeb’s knowledge is vast and his skills are unsurpassed. You may call Dr. Loeb’s Manhattan office at 212-327-3700 to learn more about plastic surgery in New York City.
