Non-surgical Procedures

In addition to surgical procedures, a variety of non-surgical  procedures have been developed and perfected in recent years that can reverse the aging process and restore the fresh, natural look of youth.  The results can be so transformative, that many refer to these options as a “non-surgical face lift.”

Dr. Loeb offers all the latest non-invasive procedures in his Manhattan office.  With recent technological advancements, these procedures take little time, are relatively painless, and require minimal recovery.

Retylane/Juvederm

The gold standard of injectable fillers, Restylane and Juvederm restore volume to areas of the face that have thinned and wrinkled, replenishing the skin to give it a smooth, fresh, youthful look.

Dr. Loeb injects them just under the skin near the lips and nose, on the lower eyelid, or on the jowl or chin. The rejuvenating effect of these fillers usually lasts between 4-6 months.

Both Restylane and Juvederm are natural, biodegradable, and non-animal based.

Dysport/Botox

Two injectable products that have been proven to be highly successful in erasing frown lines, laugh lines, crow’s feet, and other wrinkles that appear over time. Dysport and Botox block nerve impulses to facial muscles. This causes those muscles to relax instead of contract. These injectables are most commonly used to treat forehead lines.  They are  injected into the skin with tiny needles. Depending on the area, 4-10 injections may be necessary every 3-6 months, as needed. This procedure has no significant risks and discomfort is minimal.

Fractora

This  fractional skin resurfacing system uses radio frequency waves to stimulate collagen development and eliminate fine wrinkles.  The process also corrects pigment irregularities, removes acne scars, and eliminates excessive redness of the skin. Fractora is administered by applying small pins placed directly against the skin. Outer layers of skin are ablated, and the new skin growth is stimulated.  Fractora can be used all over the face, including the upper and lower eyelids, cheeks, mouth, and neck. Facial rejuvenation with Fractora offers a highly effective and non-invasive alternative to other skin care treatments in NYC such as dermabrasion which can require a more extensive recovery period.

Radiesse

Used to eliminate unsightly lines and folds in the nose, lips, chin, and cheeks, Radiesse is a new injectable filler. Radiesse  results last 1-2 years which is considered a long-lasting result by injectable standards.   Dr. Loeb injects the filler just under the skin surface and is often updated 3 months later in order to achieve the desired result.  This non-surgical face lift has gained the attention of many New Yorkers in recent years, and its popularity continues to grow.

Sculptra

Sculptra is an injectable filler made from absorbable crystalized suture material. Like Radiesse or other dermal fillers, Sculptra smooths lines around the nose, lips, chin, and cheeks. It is especially effective in amplifying the contours in cheeks and lips and is another long-lasting, non-invasive face lift option for many.

TiteFX

Used to erase moderate cellulite and revise body circumference, TiteFX is a body contour treatment that uses radio frequency to tighten skin and destroy unwanted fat cells in targeted areas of the body.  TiteFX may be selected as an alternative to, or in addition to, liposuction.   Since it is a relatively new non-surgical procedure, TiteFx is quickly gaining popularity among those seeking a less invasive procedure than traditional lipo.

Ultherapy

Ultrasound technology is used to stimulate deep skin regrowth.  It is a non-surgical procedure that tones, tightens, and elevates your skin. For patients seeking ultherapy in New York City, the good news is that there is little to no downtime and minimal discomfort.

Photofacials

Photo facials deliver a bright blast of light at high energy levels to the skin, with minimal downtime or discomfort. Intense-pulsed light (IPL) is directed at the skin to treat age spots, discolorations, broken capillaries, spider veins, facial redness, and to increase collagen growth.  Dr. Loeb conveniently performs NYC photofacials in his Fifth Avenue office.  Patients can go right back to work.

Laser Resurfacing

Facial rejuvenation in NYC achieved with laser resurfacing is one of the greatest advancements in cosmetic surgery. It obliterates age spots, discolorations, acne scars, fine lines, moderate wrinkles, and diminished skin luster.  A revolutionary treatment can provide an unprecedented vitality and youthfulness to your skin, laser resurfacing is extremely effective in rejuvenating aging skin, particularly around the mouth and eyes. Dr. Loeb passes a high-power laser beam for a fraction of a second over the surface of the skin, removing outer-layer dead tissue and tightening and smoothing the skin.

Fractional lasering is a newly devised, alternate procedure that penetrates to deeper layers of the skin. It stimulates collagen production and growth of new skin cells.
